More About Scott Edmonds

Scott Edmonds is the owner and lead attorney at Edmonds Law Firm, PLLC. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor, and is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas. Prior to law school, Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Master of Theological Studies from Texas Christian University.  At Edmonds Law Firm, the primary focus is on family law (including divorce, child custody, child support, CPS cases, and adoptions), as well as probate and estate planning (including wills). Scott is also a certified mediator in both general civil and family law matters, and is available to assist as a neutral third party to help resolve legal disputes through mediation.  Scott is frequently appointed to serve as an Amicus Attorney or Ad Litem Attorney in both private family law cases and in CPS matters, where he advocates for the best interests of children. He is passionate about giving back to his community and has served for years as a pro bono volunteer attorney with Legal Aid of Northwest Texas in Johnson County. He is also a proud member of the Pro Bono Texas Campaign sponsored by the State Bar of Texas.  Due to his commitment to continuing legal education, Scott has been a member of the Texas Bar College each year of his practice. His peers have voted him a “Top Attorney” in Fort Worth Magazine for four consecutive years: 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.  Scott has been a featured presenter at the Tarrant County Child Welfare Seminar in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and a speaker for the Texas Supreme Court Children’s Commission. In his personal time, Scott enjoys running and often participates in local 5K races to raise funds for non-profit organizations.  Scott brings experience, compassion, and the respect of his peers to every case.
